Software Engineer
In the front end, I have done projects using Angular framework and am currently picking up the React library. In the back end, my experience lies with using Spring Boot along with MySQL database. An example project is the EmployeeManager that allows users to perform CRUD and searching operations on employee information.
Using Android Studio and written in Java, I have worked on small Android mobile applications to practice mobile application development. One highlight project is a WhatsApp clone that allows emulated and physical devices to send text messages in real time. The app utilizes Firebase as a cloud database to store and retrieve user data and messages.
After having taken an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence course, I have been more and more intrested in AI and machine learning. At the moment, I am taking online courses to learn python programming fundamentals. I plan to dive deeper in the realm of artifical Intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
Software Engineer
Being born in the Silicon Valley, and growing up hearing people talk about how the area is dominated by the tech field, I naturally wanted to become an engineer of some sort. But before we get to that, while I was in school I worked as an Operations Supervisor at California's Great America where I learned soft skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and business management. With that being said, now that I have a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, I want to shift my focus on what I've dedicated my time studying towards. In university, I was taught the fundamentals but now I'm eager to gain real-world experiences. I am looking for opportunities where I can gain hands on experience while meeting new people and learning from my peers.
